Board President's Remarks

  • This might be one of the largest meetings we’ve ever had and we’re excited to see so many people join us. It’s a great example of our community’s dedication to students.

  • Out of all my conversations with the community about the reentry process, there is always an expectation that we must take care of all members of our community, and I hope tonight you’ll see evidence of that effort.

  • Many of us are stressed, frustrated, scared and perhaps struggling during the pandemic and there’s no doubt this is uncharted territory, but it is a time to come together.

  • We are in a great place here at Ladue Schools and the administration has been working around the clock to support staff and families as we navigate this crisis. Thank you to all of our administration for the work that has been done.

  • We may feel uneasy because we can’t control things, but as a community we can make this happen and hopefully we can feel good about this when we come out on the other side of it.

  • Thank you to everyone for your feedback, thoughts and ideas throughout this process.

Superintendent Remarks

  • Graduation will be held Aug. 2 and the high school has had its plans approved by the county.

  • Thank you to our patrons for their patience, kindness and grace, along with their questions and comments. That input helps prepare us to keep moving toward school reentry.
